# Calcie Settings: Themes, Modes, Language, Sound, Icon and Widget

Everything you can adjust in Calcie, on one page. Settings open with the gear in the top right corner of the calculator, and History opens with the clock icon in the top left.

## The Settings screen

At the top is Premium: if you already own it, there's a green checkmark next to it; if not, you'll see the price from the App Store. Below it are Themes, Mode, Language, Icon, Widget and the "Sound, Animation & Look" screen.

At the very bottom are the Rate Calcie button and the version number. Keep the version handy in case you write to support.

## Themes

The theme gallery is the first item. It has twenty collections with cover art, each with five color dots and a note on how many colors or themes it holds. The current collection is marked.

At the top is search: look up a theme by name in any of forty languages, or by words like "kitty," "neon" or "pink." Under the search is a color filter with ten options.

## Collection

Inside a collection, themes appear as cards, two per row. Tap Install and the calculator changes outfit right away and Settings closes; the current theme says Installed.

The preview button shows a theme at full size. Premium themes have a lock, and tapping one opens the Premium screen.

## Mode

A list of all 21 modes: seventeen calculators and four converters. Tap a mode to switch to it, and Settings closes.

The standard and scientific calculators are free; the rest have a lock and come with Premium. Calcie remembers the mode you picked and opens right in it.

## Language

Calcie speaks forty languages. Your iPhone's language comes first: pick it and Calcie will follow the system language, even if you change it later. The rest are sorted by popularity, each with a flag, and there's a search at the top.

The language changes instantly, with no restart. Number formatting (commas, spaces and periods) adjusts to the language you choose.

## Sound, Animation & Look

There are four toggles here. Sound turns on the tap sound, and every theme has its own. Haptics adds a light buzz to every tap; it's off by default. Animations controls the live background, particles and tap effects. Logo shows the Calcie wordmark above the calculator.

Below that is Menu Appearance: System, Light or Dark. It changes the colors of Settings, the gallery and History, while the calculator itself keeps the colors of its theme.

## App Icon

Eighteen icons in three styles: 3D, Flat and Glass. The default icon, Sunny, is free, and the rest come with Premium.

The icon you pick shows up on your Home Screen right away. iOS will show a system message about the icon change, which is how it's meant to work.

## Widget

You can put Calcie on your Lock Screen. The widget has 24 icons: four free, the rest in Premium.

To add it, touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customize → Lock Screen, and add Calcie. Tapping the widget opens the calculator right away.

## Premium

The Premium screen shows what's free and what the purchase unlocks: all themes, all modes, app icons and widget icons. It's a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

The purchase is tied to your Apple ID. On a new iPhone or iPad, tap Restore Premium on this screen and your purchase comes back at no charge.

## History

History opens with the clock icon in the top left corner of the calculator. It holds your last fifty calculations: the expression, the answer and the time.

Tap an entry and the expression returns to the screen so you can keep calculating. History is stored only on your device and is available in the standard and scientific modes.
