You can round up what each person pays or the overall total, and the calculator shows the actual tip percent after rounding. Enter the bill amount. 2. Choose the tip percentage. 3. Say how many of you there are. 4. Turn on rounding if you want even amounts. ## Example 120 + 15% for 4 people → **34.50 each** ## FAQ **What is the leftover?** If the amount doesn't split evenly to the cent, Calcie shows what's left over, and you can add it to one person's share. **What tip percentage is standard?** It's different everywhere, so you choose. The default is 10%. **Can I split the bill without a tip?** Yes, set it to 0%. Calcie simply divides the total among everyone and shows how much each person pays and what's left after rounding. **Does the “Tips” mode work offline?** Yes. Calcie does all its math right on your device, so the mode works on a plane, on the subway and out of town. Nothing is sent to any server, and the answer appears instantly. **Is “Tips” available on iPad and Mac?** Yes. On iPad the mode has its own layout with larger fields, and on a Mac with Apple Silicon Calcie runs in its iPad version and works from the keyboard.
