Who we are

FunWorks was founded by developer Vassiliy Penkov as a home for the apps we always wanted to have on our own phones. It is a small team on purpose: the people who write the code are the same people who draw the screens, answer your emails and decide what comes next.

We are not part of a larger company and we do not answer to investors. That lets us take our time, polish the details and say no to things that would make our apps worse, such as aggressive ads, endless subscriptions or screens that beg for a rating the moment you open the app.

What we do

We design and develop mobile applications and publish them on official app marketplaces. Everything happens in-house, from the first sketch to the release: product idea, interface and illustrations, programming, translation into forty languages, testing and customer support.

Our apps are available on the Apple App Store for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Android versions for Google Play and Huawei AppGallery are in development. Apps are free to download, and extra features are sold as a one-time in-app purchase through the store, never as a hidden subscription.

Calcie: Cute Calculator

Our apps

Calcie: Cute Calculator is our first app and the one we are proudest of. It turns an everyday tool into something you are happy to open: 238 themes in twenty collections, from kawaii animals to neon and frosted glass, plus twenty-one calculator modes for percentages, discounts, tips, loans, deposits, dates, time, fractions, unit and currency conversion and much more. Calcie speaks forty languages and works without an account.

How we work

Privacy first

Our apps do not ask you to create an account. Calculations and settings stay on your device, and we collect only anonymous statistics that help us fix bugs. The details are in our privacy policies.

Made for everyone

Every app ships in forty languages, including right-to-left scripts, and we test it on phones, tablets and computers of all sizes.

Honest pricing

What is free stays free. Paid features are a one-time purchase, clearly marked before you buy, and restore on all your devices.

Real support

Every email is read and answered by the people who build the app, usually within a few days and in your language.

What's next

Right now we are bringing Calcie to Android and adding its calculators to this website so they work right in the browser. After that come new apps: everyday utilities, something for home and study, and a couple of small games. We release them when they are ready, without rushing and without loud announcements.
