What stays on your device only

Your calculations, history, the numbers and exchange rates you enter, and your chosen theme, mode, language, icon and other settings are stored only on your device. We don't receive or see any of it.

Anonymous usage statistics (TelemetryDeck)

To understand which themes and modes people enjoy, the app sends anonymous events through the TelemetryDeck service. An event contains the action (for example, "theme selected" or "Premium screen opened"), the app and iOS versions, the device model, the interface language and the region from your settings, and a random installation ID, only as a one-way hash.

The numbers you calculate, your name, email, contacts, location and advertising identifier are not sent.

Install and purchase statistics (Firebase Analytics)

To understand how many installs and purchases the app's advertising brings in, Calcie uses Firebase Analytics from Google. It receives events for the first launch, for the Premium screen being shown, and for a purchase (amount and currency). The advertising identifier (IDFA) is not used, and the app does not ask for tracking permission.

The studio's service statistics

The app also reports to our own server when it's installed, when it's opened (no more than once every ten minutes) and when Premium is purchased: the same hash of the random installation ID, the country from your Language & Region settings, the device model, the platform and the app version. This helps us see that the app is working and spot problems quickly.

Purchases

Calcie Premium is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple. We don't receive your payment details or Apple ID; the app only checks with the App Store whether Premium has been purchased.

Children

Calcie is suitable for any age and deliberately doesn't collect personal data from anyone, children included.
